Possible not? That 15 year old was my child! Where was this knowledge regarding rip currents prior to the death of my son? Manistee offers no safey measures on their beaches. No signs, no flotation devices, no call boxes, no public service announcements. My son called for help…..no one could hear him. Shouldn’t everyone who lives or travels to a Great Lakes beach have prior knowledge of rip currents?
